The CR-6 MAX is the second printer that Creality has funded through crowdfunding.
_The Golden Triangle:
+Holding the towering Z-axis are support bars that Creality previously dubbed the “Golden Triangle.” These metal supports help reduce vibration as the bed moves back and forth.
+The presence of these is a welcome sight and means you'll be able to print higher without having to worry about excessive Z swings as you hit the upper limit of your build volume.
+The CR-6 Max 3d printer has the same innovative auto leveling system as the CR-6 SE, using force-based sensors. The Max will simply touch the nozzle to the bed at specific points and the force sensor on the hot end will detect exactly where the nozzle touches the glass.
+This system is nice for a couple of reasons. For one, there are no additional sensor probes, which means you don’t have to calibrate any offsets beyond the initial Z-height to get the right “squeak” on your first layer. Additionally, the automatic leveling system eliminates the need for knobs on the underside of the bed, which will be a relief for anyone with experience trying to level such large format machines.
_Additional features of the Creality CR-6 Max 3d printer will include:
+Modular nozzle: Creality has designed the nozzle to be modular. Users can disable the nozzle and change the heatsink, heat sink, Teflon tube or nozzle tip with the included accessories.
+Extruder: The redesigned extruder will allow easier filament feeding.
+Filament sensor: The CR-6 Max 3d printer is equipped with a photoelectric filament sensor that detects any possibility of filament breakage or depletion.
+Resume printing function: Power failure or disconnection will not be a problem for the CR-6 Max as it can fully recover and continue printing when backed up.
+32-bit motherboard: The CR-6 SE has reached one of its stretch goals on Kickstarter, meaning both the SE and Max will be offered with a 32-bit motherboard for enhanced performance.
+TMC2209 Motor Driver: Another expansion point, Creality will add TMC2209 motor driver for more precise and quiet printing.
+Mean Well Power Supply: As clarified in Creality's latest update, the CR-6 SE and CR-6 Max will be powered by the same high-quality Mean Well power supply to extend hardware life and give you peace of mind.
