_BIGTREETECH Octopus MAX EZ, a 32-bit motherboard, is an upgraded version of Octopus Pro developed by the 3D printing team of Shenzhen BigTree Technology Co., Ltd. It has a series of features that Octopus Pro does not have, greatly enhancing its DIY capabilities.

2.BOOT button on board to activate DFU mode to update bootloader
3.Thermistor circuit is protected to prevent MCU damage due to short circuit between heater and heater box connection
4.Selectable voltage (24V, 12V, 5V) for CNC fan, no need for additional external voltage reduction step thus preventing board damage due to user error
5.Upgraded with eFuse protection, faster response with strong protection, effectively protect the motherboard from damage caused by short circuit, overcurrent, spark, etc.
6.MCU firmware can be upgraded via SD card or using DFU via Klipper flash required
7.10 EZ driver socket, work with pinless driver, safer to use; On-board SPI and UART, can be used by simple setting in firmware, no need for jumper wire
8.Support power failure recovery, filament out sensor, CAN, auto power off, BL Touch, RGB, etc.
9.Replaceable fuse for easy maintenance
10.3*4pin fan port, also for connecting water cooling system
11.On-board proximity switch port, supports NPN and PNP types, 24V, 12V and 5V voltage selectable
12.On-board SPI interface for connecting an accelerometer sensor to allow shaping of Klipper input
